项目摘要

本研究の目的は、言語や文化背景が異なることで地域ケアの課題を抱えがちなマイノリティ高齢者のヘルスリテラシーについて理解し、彼らのケアの選択と決定の自律を支援できる人材の養成である。当初は2018～2020年度までの3年間の研究計画で、地域包括ケアセンター職員を対象にロールプレイングなどの手法を用いた研修を実施する予定であったが、対面による研修実施の困難さから計画を見直し、半年間の研究期間を延長し、言語的マイノリティ高齢者の地域ケアの課題、支援上の倫理課題の知識の向上、言語通訳士との連携の在り方、具体的なコミュニケーション方法に関する教材を開発し、オンライン上で学修できる環境を整備した。具体的には「地域保健情報学」として地域ケアにおける住民、ケア利用者のコミュニケーションのスキル向上を目指したホームページを開設した。ホームページ内では、異文化コンピテンシーの自己評価ができるアセスメントシートを掲載し、異文化・異言語の高齢者の支援に関わる際に、留意すべき点について都度確認できる環境を整備した。今後在宅医療を受ける高齢者の増加を視野にいれ、地域在宅看護の実践者が開発した教材を使用し、多様な背景を持つ高齢者のケアニーズに対応できる実践能力の向上に努められるよう研究の発展を目指す。
