本研究では社会福祉法人の高齢者介護事業を対象とし，財務と非財務の両面からみる包括的な業績評価指標の開発に向けたエビデンスを蓄積することを目的とする．2018年度は①高齢者介護領域のサービス評価等の非財務的業績の評価および財務的業績の評価に関する文献・資料の検討，②介護分野のビッグデータの開発と運用の面で先行する韓国の事例について検討を行った．2019年度は①高齢者介護領域のサービス評価等の非財務的業績の評価および財務的業績の評価に関する国内外の文献・資料の収集および検討，②社会福祉法人の財務データと非財務データの収集作業，③高齢者介護事業の業績評価指標の枠組みと構成要素の検討，④関連研究として，非財務データである要介護認定データを用いた研究と，在宅医療の質の評価に関する研究を行い，それぞれ成果を発表した．2020年度は新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大による影響で，予定していた訪問調査等の実施やデータ収集が行えなかったため，文献・資料の検討を中心に行った．2021年度は，①社会福祉法人の財務データと非財務データの収集，②高齢者介護事業の業績評価に関するシステマティックレビューを行った．2022年度は，複数の都道府県の社会福祉法人の財務データと非財務データの収集を行い，分析に着手した．
