项目摘要

観察調査およびインタビュー調査の成果を踏まえたうえで、通園バス内の保育の質的向上を目的とした園内研修の開発、実施した。研究協力園との連携のもと、初めて通園バス乗務を経験する保育者に向けて、通園バスの保育環境としての特質や機能について周知するとともに、車内の実践を対象とした公開保育を支援した。本研修については、保育者の通園バス乗務に対する意欲の向上、通園バスの保育実践として意識づけという点において成果があったと考える。また、昨年度の研修参加者へのインタビューデータ、研修資料の分析から、通園バス内の実践の向上を目的とした研修方法の意義と課題を明らかにし、論文として発表した。本研究では、通園バスの保育を研修対象とすることにより、乗務する保育者の意欲を高め、教材開発などの試行錯誤を促進できる可能性が示唆された。さらに、バスと園舎での子どもの生活の連続性に対する関心、保育者間の連携の必要性に対する認識を高め、園における「保育」の領域を拡張し得ることもわかった。他方で、バス乗務者が担任を兼務する場合には、十分な研修時間の確保が難しいといった、実施上の課題も改めて明らかになった。
