本研究の目的は，幼少期の子どもが抱く強迫性の理解と支援にむけて，衝動性と強迫性の観点から支援の有効性について検証することであった。新型コロナウイルス感染拡大による研究計画の変更を迫られたが，オンラインによって幼少期の子どもの強迫症状やこだわりへの援助プログラムを開発し，その効果を検討しているところである。2022年度は2021年度に引き続き，オンラインで実施可能な幼少期の子どもへの強迫症状への認知行動療法プログラムの効果検証を継続した。最終的に8名が事前・事後評価を終え，特にSDQとCBCLによって測定される行動上の問題や情緒の問題に改善傾向が確認された。しかし，これらの改善が自然な発達によるものかの検証が必要だと考えられたため，自然経過の中での同様の指標の変化と比較し，今後論文として投稿していく段階に入っている。また，こだわり行動や強迫症状への支援として掲げていたが，発達特性による困難さよりも感覚のアンバランスさや行動抑制システムの影響が大きいと想定される事例も散見された。研究を進める中で生じた，子どもの示すこだわり行動の背景要因の理解に向けた縦断調査について，3－8歳の子どもを持つ保護者を対象に実施（1時点，215名を回収済み），現在進行中である。途中経過としてプログラムの開発内容と探索的な効果について，日本認知行動療法学会に公表した。また，具体的に経過を長期的に終えた1事例についての報告をアジア児童青年精神医学会（査読有，国際学会）に2023年度に行う予定となっている。
