途上国の農村社会に住む人々は、社会的ネットワークを利用して経済活動を営んでいる（ネットワークの経済学）。農村社会の規範もまた、家族内の労働配分など、個人の厚生に直結する経済活動に影響を与えている（家族の経済学）。社会規範の強い農村においてネットワークが世帯の厚生に与える影響を評価するためには、社会規範を考慮した包括的な分析が必要である。本研究は、伝統的に家父長制家族制度を有し、かつ、社会的ネットワークが農村内の農家・労働者階層の形成、階層間の雇用契約、生産物の販路の形成などに大きな役割を果たしていると考えられるトルコ共和国アダナ県の農村社会を対象とする。家計調査を実施し、ネットワークの経済学と家族の経済学の二つの視点を統合させた実証研究を行うことにより、社会的ネットワークの多寡が、社会規範のもとで農村世帯の生計戦略や農村内の不平等に及ぼす影響を包括的に評価する。2018年度に、調査地域において社会的ネットワークや家族制度が実際の農家行動と密接に関係しているのかどうかを確認することを目的として、現地で予備的調査を行った。予備調査の結果を受け、①階層の形成、②労働契約、③生産物の販路の形成、④生計戦略に関する調査を実施する計画を立てた。しかし、2019年度以降、新型コロナウィルスの流行、2023年2月に発生した大地震の影響でアダナ県での調査を実施することができなかった。現在は、2023年度中に調査が実施可能であるか、トルコ側の研究協力者とコンタクトを取りながら、状況を確認中である。

Preparation of survey results,(1) formation of strata,(2) establishment of contracts,(3) formation of product distribution routes, and (4) establishment of plans for survey implementation related to livelihood strategies Since 2019, the epidemic of new types of drugs has been falling, and the impact of the earthquake that occurred in February 2023 has been investigated. Now, in 2023, the investigation is possible, and the research collaborators on the research side are in the process of confirmation.
