2022年度は、2019年度に実施した調査結果に加え、データ数を増やすために採血を受ける子どもの親および看護師をリクルートし、調査分析し、その上で親と看護師との協働に基づく親支援プログラムの試案作成に向けた支援内容を抽出する予定でいた。しかし、Covid-19感染防止のため臨床現場での親および看護師の関わりの観察やインタビューの実施が難しく、データ収集再開の目途が立たなかった。そのため、2019年度に調査した採血を受ける幼児後期の子どもに付き添う母親に関わった看護師の参加観察および面接データを再分析し、看護師の特徴的な関わりを抽出していった。看護師は、「子どもの安心・安全を保障し頑張りを後押ししようとする母親の関わりへの理解」を示し、「母親の意向に沿った子どもへの対応」に心がけ、嫌がる子どもと母親との間で交わされる会話を見守るといった「母親の子どもへの対応を保証する関わり」や、子どもと母親の双方に声をかけ続けるといった「子どもと母親への安心できる居場所づくり」をしていた。また、看護師自身による「子どもの頑張れる力への気づき」や「子どもの理解力や意思の確認」、子ども自ら手を出したタイミングを捉えて速やかに採血するといった「子どもの頑張る力への判断と後押し」をしたり、「看護師主導での採血への判断と実施」をしていた。その際、「採血に向けて協力を得るための母親への支援」や「子どもの安心・安全のために母親に依頼する協力」をし、採血後には「母親との子どもの頑張りの分かち合い」をしていた。その一方で、「嫌がる子どもへの対応の難しさ」や「母親や子どもに関わるタイミングを捉える難しさ」を語っていた。結果を踏まえ、親との協働に向けた親支援のためのケア項目を抽出している。
