研究期間の1年目となる平成29年度は、自らがこれまで進めてきた戦後日本の宗教と政治に関する研究の到達地点を確認した上で、特に戦後日本の政教分離訴訟に関わる基礎資料・報道資料や関連書籍の収集と講読を集中的に行い、研究を進めた。研究課題の戦後日本の政教分離訴訟の具体的ケースについては、まず「津地鎮祭訴訟」について研究・調査を集中的に進め、6月3日に大阪国際大学で行われた「宗教と社会」学会第25回学術大会において、「津地鎮祭訴訟・再考―政教分離訴訟の構築・浸透過程の一事例として―」の題目で報告を行った。今後、同様の手法で重要判例とされているケース群を社会学的視角から論じなおすことの意義を学会にて示し、確認した。次なる具体的ケースとして、「山口自衛官合祀拒否訴訟」についても研究・調査を集中的に進め、11月4日に東京大学で行われた第90回日本社会学会大会において、「争われる「信仰」、介入する「公」―山口自衛官合祀拒否訴訟・再考―」の題目で報告を行った。前述の学会内容と同様の手法と視角に基づいて、戦後日本の政教分離訴訟の諸ケースについての再検討を行うことの意義をあらためて確認できた。こうした報告を基礎として、「戦後「国家神道」の想像／創造―政教分離訴訟の展開の中から―」（仮題・発表予定）、「戦後宗教の右派性」（発表予定）などの諸論考を執筆し、初年度の研究成果をかたちにした。研究計画に記載した「戦後政教関係問題年表」については、完成・公開までは至らなかったものの、おおむねの事項についての調査・確認が行われ、研究対象とする期間全体の流れをつかむことができた。本研究課題については、辞退により初年度で終了となったが、今後も関連する問題意識のもと、研究を進め、成果を発信していきたいと考える。

In the future, the important precedents of the same method will be discussed and confirmed from the perspective of sociology. The next specific report was published on November 4 at the University of Tokyo on the topic of "Contending for" Faith "and" Public Intervention "-Yamaguchi Self-Defense Officials 'Ref-examination of Lawsuit. The content and method of the above-mentioned association are based on the discussion of the separation of church and state litigation in Japan. The report was written on the basis of the following topics: "Imagination/Creation of the Post-National Shinto-The Development of the Lawsuit for Separation of Church and State"(title: table to be determined),"Rightist Nature of Post-Religious"(table to be determined), and the research results of the initial year. The research plan records the chronology of post-church relations issues, including investigation, confirmation, research object, etc. This research topic is about the problem awareness, research progress, and results.
