项目摘要

・コーパスの構築: 研究目的①と②と、著者の性的指向を考慮に入れたテキストの自動分類のために、紙媒体からAlice Sheldonの全著作を含んだ、1000作品以上の文芸テキストを含む自作コーパスを構築した。・分類手法の選択: 先行研究で実施されている古い統計手法を用いた分析に加えて、最新の統計手法を複数用いて、分類正確率の高い手法の選定を行った。特に、2018年7月に行われたInternational Quantitative Linguistics Conference QUALICO 2018やPoetics And Linguistics Association (PALA) 2018では “Authorship Attribution with Topic Modelling: Alice Bradley Sheldon and Her Contemporaries”, “Quantitative Stylistics of Alice Bradley Sheldon: Inspecting Intra-author Variation Through Topic Modelling with R”という題名で発表を行い、近年計量文献学の場で使用されることの多くなったトピックモデルという新しい手法を取り入れた分析を行った。・指標の選択:これまでの研究で使用された指標の種類を調査し、各指標の著者判別力の高さを検証した。また、複数の指標の組み合わせによる判別力の変化に関して調査した。この点に関しては、2018年10月に行われた日本文体論学会で「時系列データ分析を用いたAlice Bradley Sheldon通時的な文体変化の量的検証」というポスター発表を行った。ここでは、国際学会での発表データを基にして、トピックモデルで得られた結果を一変量での時系列データ分析 (変化点検出) をすることによって、作家の通時的な文体変化の検出を試みた。その結果、動詞の使用頻度において、正体露見以前/以後という変化点が存在することが確認できた。
