The purpose of this study is to examine the principal form of nurturing in an ageing society with a declining birth rate,and to realize the route for healthy and safe development of the next generation. We have proceeded the mix method of Quantitative and Qualitative research, mainly conducting Quantitative.This study was constructed by 3 subresearch next, 1)The Large Quantitative Research on Child-raising in Japan : We used EPSI,SOC.There were 1st reports of EPSI (2002-2004) and EPSI added SOC (2005-2008) in English in the Journal of Japan Child and Family Research Institute internationally. 2) International Comparison of 1) : Eija Paarvilainen, co-researcher in Finland conducted EPSI and SOC, too. 3) The Fieldwork in Finland : There was an ordinary thought that a child should have been raised by family members in the house until the preschool-period, so it seemed Finnish common sense. Finland side has submitted the paper for the Journal of Health Psychology (27 May.2014, reception).
