A Fundamental Study on the Use of Eye Tracking in Teacher Behavior Observation of Children with Severe and Multiple Disabilities

本研究的目的是检验眼动追踪在多重残疾（身体残疾和智力残疾）儿童行为观察中使用的有效性，这是一种客观发现教师的视点和策略特征的方法。对于严重和多重残疾儿童（发育年龄小于1岁），通过视频进行行为观察存在一定的局限性。同时，对于多重残疾儿童，眼动追踪被确定为评价教师行为观察的客观指标之一。

The purpose of this study is to examine effectiveness of the use of eye tracking, which is a way of objectively finding out the characteristics of teacher's eye point and strategy in behavior observation of children with multiple disabilities (physical disability and intellectual disability). With regard to the children with severe and multiple disabilities (less than one-year-old in developmental age), it was identified there was a limitation in behavior observation through video. Meanwhile, with regard to the children with multiple disabilities, eye tracking was identified as one of the objective indicators reviewing teacher's behavior observation.
