An Economic Study on Post-modernity Food Consumption and Alternative Food System

我们的后现代性分析表明，战后日本食品消费的转变分为现代、后现代和后后现代三个阶段。显然，后后现代消费的进一步扩大需要对国内生产和分配制度进行实质性改革。从我们与公民的研讨会讨论和对法国和英国经验的实地调查中得出结论，生产者和消费者之间的直接交易可能作为一种替代食品系统而发展。

Our post-modernity analysis showed that the transition in Japanese food consumption composed of three stages as modern, post-modern, and post-post-modern in post-war periods. Obviously further extension of post-post-modern consumption would require substantial reforms of domestic production and distribution systems. It is concluded that direct transaction between producers and consumers can possibly grow as an alternative food system from our workshop discussion with citizen and field surveys on French and UK experience.
