项目摘要

本研究は、条件不利地域で生産される香酸柑橘類に焦点をあて、その生産・流通について明らかにするもので、香酸柑橘類の生産量に応じた品目分類を行い、その生産・流通体制を体系化することで日本各地に点在する柑橘産地の労働力問題を改善させ、農村の維持発展に寄与することを目的としている。レモンにおいては、近年の生産流通に関する論文やJA広島ゆたか、JA広島果実連から提供いただいた過去のデータの整理を行い動向の確認を行った。また大手清涼飲料メーカーで、大崎上島町にて自社レモン農園を設立し、産学官の連携を図りながら農業振興を進めるP社の大崎上島町での生産活動や他の香酸柑橘類への興味をヒアリングにより調査した。WEB会議や広島大学での打ち合わせ等を複数回行い、その動向を調査した。これらから、生産量が少ない地元に根差した香酸柑橘類においても、メーカー需要は一定数あり事業展開が望めることを把握することができた。この結果ジャバラだけでなく、大分近郊のヘベスなど様々な品目への研究の発展性も示唆された。カボスの生産流通過程においては、国東市、竹田市、豊後大野市を中心にヒアリング調査を行い、生産販売データの収集と県内加工業者の仕入れ動向を調査した。大分県内でカボスの生産から加工品の生産まで一貫して行う豊後大野市のA社や別府市のK社において、自社での生産とカボスの仕入れ過程等についてヒアリングを行い、カボスの加工用需要の拡大を把握した。また、カボスを使った洋菓子店を開業した別府市のY社においてカボスのサプライチェーンの構築が不安定であり安定的な製造が難しといった課題のねん出ができた。加工用需要の拡大が見込まれる中での生産動向、加工会社の調達動向の把握と、サプライチェーンの構築のあり方に対する課題が浮き彫りとなった。ジャバラについては、現状まだ直接的な調査は行えていない。
