项目摘要

近年、高齢者の低栄養が問題になっており、低栄養状態が続くと健康維持に必要な栄養素が不足するため、さらなる体調不良を引き起こすと言われている。栄養状態を改善することが疾病の重症化や入院期間の長期化を防ぐと考えられる。高齢者の低栄養の原因の１つに口腔機能の低下が挙げられるが、様々な口腔機能のうちどの機能がもっとも高齢者の栄養状態の低下に関連するのかは明らかではない。どの口腔機能が栄養状態に関連するのかが明らかになれば、それらの機能低下に対しリハビリテーションを行い、効率的に栄養状態を改善できる。本研究の目的は、栄養状態の低下にもっとも関連する口腔機能を明らかにすることである。加えて本研究では、自立高齢者に対し口腔リハビリテーション指導および管理栄養士と連携した栄養指導を実施し、栄養状態改善の効果を明らかにすることを目的としている。2022年度は、2021年度に計測した30名の栄養評価を実施し、さらに40名の口腔機能の計測を完了した。この40名のうち30名の栄養評価は完了している。50名の計測が終了した段階で高齢者の栄養状態に関連する因子について検討したところ、舌口唇運動機能低下が栄養状態と関連が強いと考えられることが明らかとなった。一方、口腔衛生状態や口腔水分量については関連が低いと考えられた。今後100名の計測が終了した段階でどの口腔機能を最終的な分析に用いるのかを決定し、最終的な分析を開始していく予定である。
