本研究は、小児看護未経験者による小児訪問看護の推進に向けた支援モデルの構築を目的に、小児訪問看護の全国実態調査と看護師間の支援に関するインタビュー調査を行う。2021年度には小児看護未経験者や小児訪問看護に関する文献レビューと、小児看護未経験の訪問看護師へのヒアリング調査を行った。この調査から小児看護未経験者に関る研究の少なさが見て取れた。2021年度に明らかになった研究課題から、2022年度には全国実態調査の基礎研究として、看護師参加者5名へのインタビュー調査を実施した。インタビュー調査の目的は、小児看護未経験の訪問看護師が小児訪問看護を行うようになるまでの体験を明らかにすることとした。この調査では小児看護未経験者が小児訪問看護を行うようになるまでにどのような経験が影響を与えているのか、あるいは看護師がどのような支援を求めているのかについて、有益なデータを収集することができた。看護師自身の育児歴などが関係していることを予測した先行文献の見解に反して、研究参加者は自身の育児歴の影響を自覚していなかった。また既存の全国実態調査では調査項目に挙がっていない項目になりうるデータも見受けられ、これらの変数を用いた全国調査を展開することで、既存の研究では明らかとなっていない知見が究明されることが見込まれる。また現在はこれらの知見を学会発表や論文投稿を通して公表する準備段階にある。2023年度は2022年度の調査をもとに、実際に全国実態調査を計画する。
