项目摘要

本年度は、当初の予定通り、SM愛好者への聞き取り調査を実施するとともに、1970年以降のＳＭ雑誌の網羅的調査を行なった。聞き取り調査では、商業ＳＭに関わる4名の方にそれぞれ2回ずつ実施した。その際には、「ＳＭプレイ」とは実のところ何をしているのか、という観点から聞き取りを行った。プライヴァシーへの配慮が必要な内容が一部含まれるため、公開方法については検討中である。前年度より引き続き行っている1970年代以降のＳＭ雑誌調査では、SMの商業化によって発生したと考えられる「SはサービスのS」、「ソフトSM」という言説の初出を調査した。愛好者への聞き取りでは、「サービスのS」言説は、1990年代後半に、客側のS男性への戒めの言葉として耳にした、という意見があったが、1985年頃、SMクラブ所属の女王様の語りとして雑誌に現れている例を確認した。「ソフトSM」については、愛好者にも様々な起源の語りが見られたが、そのひとつは、2002年の風営法改正によってプレイルームが違法となったことで、設備の整った場所でのプレイが不可能となり、結果SMがソフト化したというものがある。しかし雑誌上で「ソフトSM」の語は1985年の改正風営法施行後に頻出するようになることが分かった。その他にも1985年前後に新出する用語や観念がみられ、この改正の影響はかなり大きいものと考えられる。以上を踏まえ、今後は1985年をSM文化の画期と仮定し、分析を進めたい。
