项目摘要

本年度は、申請した研究計画に基づきつつも、一部臨機応変に対応を行い、一定の研究成果を得ることができた。本年度に行った活動としては、清代音韻学史における学術態度の変遷の考察と、清代学術を含む清から民国にかけての学問史に関するシンポジウムの開催（類似分野の研究者との共同開催）が主に挙げられる。夏期に行ったシンポジウムでは、自ら清朝音韻学の重要人物である戴震の学問観とその音韻学手法の関連についての発表を行った。発表では、戴震の今音学には、彼の哲学思想の特徴である、実のところは外来学問を受け入れつつも、表向きは外来学問を排斥するという態度が見られることを指摘した。また広く清代から民国期の学問を専門とする研究者を全国から集めて交流を行った。その後シンポジウムで発表した原稿を元に、議論の対象を戴震周辺の音韻学者の学問にまで広げ、中国思想の専門誌である『中国研究集刊』に、清代古音学者の今音研究の変遷に関する論文を発表した。論文では、清代音韻学の開祖である顧炎武と、その研究を受け継いで発展させた江永・戴震との間に、今音に対する態度に顕著な違いがあることを指摘し、その要因を論じた。簡単にまとめれば、顧炎武は今音を、当代音と古音とを結ぶ道具と考え、積極的な価値は認めないが、江永と戴震は今音自体に積極的に価値を認めている。この要因を、顧炎武の復古思想と、戴震の今音の脱外来学問化・儒教化という観点から探った。本年度の研究は、研究計画全体における基礎部分と位置付けられ、清代音韻学と哲学思想との関連に関して、今後は西学（西洋伝来の学問）の受容に対する調査研究が必要であることを認識した。
