本試験はそれぞれデザインの異なる以下５段階にて構成される。Phase 1：尺度翻訳と妥当性検証目的のインタビュー、Phase 2：医師・薬剤師対象 フォーカスグループインタビュー、Phase 3：患者対象 半構造化個別インタビュー、Phase 4：患者対象 質問紙調査の開発と実施、Phase 5：処方適正化プロトコル改良版の研究チーム内での開発2022年度に実施した内容を列挙する。Phase1：Patient Perceptions of Deprescribing Short Form(PPoD-SF)の日本語版作成と妥当性評価を開始し、原作者の許可を取得して日本語訳し、異文化間妥当性を含む妥当性検証を実施した。Phase4データを活用したtest-retest法により信頼性検証を実施して完了する見込みである。Phase2：市中病院、診療所、調剤薬局に勤務する医師、薬剤師合計35名を対象に、減処方介入経験および効果的なアプローチを模索する目的でフォーカスグループインタビューを実施し、質的データの解析をテーマ分析により実施した。本結果は英文誌に掲載された。Phase3：市中病院、診療所に受診する高齢患者を対象に、減処方経験とその有用性に関わる因子を検討する目的で個別インタビューを開始した。2022年度中に目標20名のうち10名のインタビューを実施した。Phase4：質問紙調査の実施準備として、リクルート体制構築および必要な質問紙を含む研究資材の準備を実施した。
