项目摘要

初年度(平成10年度)に行った自立のイメージに関する面接調査から、自立のイメージには5つの構造パターンが存在することが明らかとなっている。この結果をもとに、本年度は2つの調査を行った。(1)調査1日本の成人が考える自立構造をより詳細に捉えるため、面接調査の結果をもとに質問紙を作成し、調査を行った。対象者は、40代・50代の成人男女361名で、調査の内容は、(1)世間一般が理想とする自立構造パターンについて、(2)自分自身が理想とする自立構造パターンについて、(3)自己の自立達成感について、の3つから構成されていた。分析を行ったところ、成人の約半数が「世間一般の理想とする自立」と「自分自身の理想とする自立」とを異なる状態(構造パターン)として考えていることが明らかとなった。また、理想とする自立の状態をどう考えるかが自立達成感に影響を与えていることが示唆された。以上の結果の一部は、日本発達心理学会第12回大会で発表した。(2)調査2さらに、上記の3つの内容から成る質問紙を英語に翻訳し、アメリカに住む40代・50代成人にも質問紙調査を行った。その結果、日本とアメリカでは自立に対する考え方が全く異なることが示唆された。

In the beginning of the year (Heisei 10), the company conducted a face-to-face survey on self-reliance, self-reliance, and self-reliance. Part of the above results were presented at the 12th General Assembly of the Japanese Society of Development Psychology. (2)Survey 2: The content of the above 3 questions is from the beginning to the end. The survey is conducted in English. The result is that Japan is not independent of the United States.
