项目摘要

目的 : 病気で入院中の子どもたちが孤立せず、仲間とつながりあいながら病気を克服するための支援を、「つなぎ支援」と位置づけ、ICTを活用して子どもが病気であっても学校教育を提供するために多様な学習の在り方について明らかにすることを目的とした。活動事例①前籍校とのweb交流 : 病気で入院中の子どもたちが、前籍校の先生や友だちとskypeやfacetimeなどのテレビ電話アプリを使って交流を図り、復学への意欲を育てることができた。②本校・分教室・訪問学級間の交流 : 光陽支援学校本校・分教室・訪問学級を「googleハングアウト」を使って7元中継し、楽しくゲーム活動を行うことで交流を図ることができた。③みんなで一緒に取り組む授業 : 年間を通して日常的に授業をインターネットで中継した。例えば、英語や外国語活動については、分教室をつないでゲームを行い楽しみながら英語に親しむことができた。③ネットワーク(防犯)カメラの活用 : 感染予防のために病院内では動植物に触れることができない子どもに対して、ネットワーク(防犯)カメラを使用し、雲の動きや植物の観察・実験を遠隔操作で行うことができた。④セラピーロボットの活用 : セラピーロボット「パロ」を分教室に導入した。入院中の子どもへの癒し効果があり、子どもたちは「パロ」のお家やエサを紙で工作することにより、創作活動が図られた。⑤自宅と学校を結ぶ遠隔授業 : 退院後すぐには通学できない子どもに対して、状況により自宅への訪問教育を行っているが、インターネットで遠隔授業を行った。この遠隔授業については、「もっと遠隔授業が広がってほしい」とニーズが高いので、今後の研究が求められる。考察 : 以上のような取り組みを、年間を通して行うことで、時間と空間を乗り越え人と人が結び付き、入院中の子どもへの支援となることが明らかになった。
