项目摘要

○研究目的 : 本研究の目的は, 視覚障害児・者の口腔健康教育に有用な歯列模型を開発することである. 視覚障害のある人は, 歯並び, 汚れの溜りやすい場所や歯ブラシのあて方を視覚的に確認できず, 効果的なブラッシング技術を身につけることが困難である. 一方, 現在歯科において当事者が触知しやすい媒体がなく, 触覚媒体を利用した対応は普及していない. そこで本研究では, 対象者の口腔内の歯の数や歯並びを簡単に再現でき, 視覚障害のある人が触覚的に歯並びやブラッシング方法を学習できる口腔内模型の開発をおこなった.○研究方法 : 当事者の助言のもと模型の作製および改良を行なった. 2倍大歯模型(永久歯・乳歯・萌出途中の永久歯, 全84種), 顎堤(歯ぐき)模型(永久歯列用・乳歯列用), 上下顎模型咬合(かみあわせ)装置を作製し, 歯模型は歯の数や歯並びを対象者の口腔内にあわせて顎堤模型に自由に配置できるようマグネット着脱式とした.○研究成果 : 歯模型をマグネット着脱式にしたこと, また幼児期から成人まで幅広い年齢層に対応できる模型としたことで, 必要時簡単に多様な対象者の口腔内の状態を再現することが可能になった. また歯模型のサイズや顎堤模型の形態, マグネットの吸着力など当事者の助言のもと改良を重ねたことで, 視覚障害のある人が自分の歯並びの状態や歯ブラシのあて方などを触知しやすい模型となった. さらに口腔内に倣って歯模型および顎堤模型に彩色を施したため, 弱視者や視覚障害のない人にも対応できる可能性も示唆された. 今後さらに多くの当事者や歯科医療・教育関係者から評価を得て改善を加える必要があると考えられるが, 本模型は視覚障害児・者の歯科治療時の説明や口腔衛生指導に活用できるだけでなく, 視覚障害児・者の口腔保健教育のツールとして, また視覚障害のない人に対しても幅広く応用できると考えられる.

The shape of the tooth model and the shape of the jaw model, the absorption force of the tooth model and the improvement of the assistant speech of the tooth model, the visual impairment of the tooth model and the state of the tooth model. In addition, the oral cavity simulation model and jaw model are applied with color, and the possibility of visual impairment is displayed. In the future, there will be more and more people involved in dental care and education, and it is necessary to improve the evaluation. This model will be used to explain the oral hygiene guidance and oral health education of visual impairment patients.
