项目摘要

本研究では、高校における理科授業(1学年理科総合B)及びサイエンス部の活動の中で、大学および地域のNPOと連携を図りながら、生徒の環境倫理育成を目的とした一連の野外型環境学習プログラムの開発・実践に取り組んでいる。特に、H21年度は、前年度実施した国有林の植林活動・民有林のカタクリ保全活動(ともに北見市端野町)等の自然保全活動に加え、生徒自身の構想と作業参加による学校敷地内簡易型ビオトープ(5m×5m、2ヵ所)作製プログラムを付加することで、より主体的かつ積極的な環境への関与要件を生徒の活動に加えた。また、本研究は、プログラムの実践と並行し、自然環境に対する生徒の意識変容と環境倫理(特に「人間非中心主義」的自然観と「世代間倫理」)の獲得に関する質的、量的分析をアンケート、インタビュー、コンセプトマップを用いて調査し、意識の変容や環境倫理の獲得に野外での学習要素がどのように寄与するのかを分析し、明らかにすることを目的とした。研究の成果として、以下のことが明らかになった。(1)森林の利用とその地域固有の生物保全活動を学習要素として持つ野外学習プログラムの実践は世代間倫理および「内在的価値」「本質的価値」としての自然の価値認識獲得に有効であった。(2)森林の利用とその地域固有の生物保全活動を学習要素として持つ野外学習プログラムの実践は環境と人間のかかわりに関する概念を複雑化・多様化し、かつ具体的・経験的なものへと変化させた。(3)簡易ビオトープの作成といった主体的な環境創造学習を従来のプログラムに加えたことにより、生徒の環境に関わる意識のうち、特に環境と人間のかかわりに関する概念を問題解決的なものへと変化させた。

This study was conducted on the basis of science teaching in colleges and universities (1 academic year science integration B) and the development and practice of field-based environmental learning in China, universities and regions.
