项目摘要

○研究目的小・中学校の新学習指導要領理科「生命」領域のねらいに準拠し,これからの新しい理科(生物)指導の充実に資する自然観察指導プログラム(以下,プログラムという。)の開発と評価に関する調査研究を行う。観察対象は校庭で普通に見られる生物とし,草本,樹木,シダ・コケ,昆虫,土壌生物,環境等とする。○研究方法1プログラムの開発に際しては,小学校教員3名,中学校教員4名,博物館研究員2名の協力を得る。テーマ設定については,各学年で学習する生物的領域に対応したものとする。テーマ設定後,児童生徒の発達段階に応じたプログラムの内容検討を行う。開発したプログラムの有効性を検証するため,検証授業を実施し,評価し改善を図かる。開発するプログラムは,児童・生徒用記録用紙,配布資料及び教師用指導資料からなり,小学校18,中学校16,計34テーマとする。2理科における自然観察指導の現状と課題を明らかにし,そのことに係る基礎資料を収集するため,三重大学教育学部・荻原彰研究室及び国立教育政策研究所基礎研究部・鳩貝太郎研究室を訪問調査する。3自然観察に係る基礎資料を収集するため,兵庫県立人と自然の博物館,JT生命誌研究館,滋賀県立琵琶湖博物館,千葉県立中央博物館,茨城県立自然博物館,牛久自然観察の森,千葉県野鳥の会主催探鳥会を訪問調査する。○研究成果1上記研究方法により,「授業ですぐ使える!『自然観察ワークシート集』」を作成することができた。また,本冊子を全国の教育センター及び大学の生物教育担当教官に配付することができた。2訪問調査の結果については,今後,地域での特色を生かした優れた取組として紹介していく予定である。3本冊子については,日本生物教育学会,日本理科教育学会及び地域の理科教育研究集会等で紹介し,自然観察指導の活用をお願いし,内容の更なる改善を図ることとする。
