<研究意図>昨年度までに研究開発した「中学校版健康教育プログラム」の教育効果を検証したところ、一定の効果は認められたが指導法や内容に改善を加えたことによる明らかな成果は得られなかった。現代的課題に対応するより有効な健康教育を確立するためには、原因をさらに分析し、新たな手立てを講じる必要性がある。そこで、今年度はプログラムの教育効果を高めるために、学校組織にある保護者や地域関係者が関わる会議(学校保健委員会、PTA運営委員会、地域健全育成協議会等)を有効に機能させる方策を探ることにした。具体的には、前述の会を活かした家庭・地域との協働計画である「中学校版健康教育プログラム・アクションプラン」を開発する。このプランに沿って健康教育を実践したことにより教育効果は高まったのか、生徒の行動変容やS他、各スキルの変化を追跡することから検証し、成果と課題を明らかにする。<研究内容>(1)健度の実態把握による「中学生版健康教育プログラム」の内容及び実践方法の評価「健康習慣・健康態度に関する健康調査」及び「SE・各スキルの形成状況調査」を実施した。子どもの変容や健康到達度を分析することによって、現行のプログラムの内容及び実施方法の問題点を明らかにした。(2)「中学校版健康教育プログラム・アクションプラン」(家庭・地域との協働計画)の開発作成(1)の結果に基づいてプログラムの修正を図るとともに、家庭・地域との協働計画である「中学校版健康教育プログラム・アクションプラン」を立案した。学校保健委員会及びを中心に、PTA運営委員会、地域健全育成協議会等、保護者や地域関係者が関与している既存の会を有機的に繋ぐ構成で、教育効果がより高まることをめざした。(3)健康教育の実践と協働体制の確立修正したプログラムをアクションプランに沿って家庭・地域と協働体制で推進した。養護教論は健康教育のコーディネーターとして、保護者や関係者に働きかける中心的役割を担った。<研究の成果と今後の課題>(1)に示した健康調査を年度末に再度実施し、「中学校版健康教育プログラム・アクションプラン」の導入によって、生徒の行動変容や健康到達度、SE他各スキルがどのように変容したか評価した。今年度開発したプログラムとアクションプランに沿った健康教育を行った本校と、それらを導入していない健康教育を行った他校生徒との間には、SEのレベル及び健康に関する望ましい態度や習慣の形成という点において有意な差が見られた。このことから、「中学校版健康教育プログラム・アクションプラン」の教育効果や有効性が検証され、仮説は立証できたと考えられる。本プログラムの実践によって、保護者や地域の方が学校の教育活動に対して大変協力的になり、さまざまな生徒をあたたかいまなざしで見守っていただけるようになったことも、大きな成果である。家庭・地域社会と協働する方策をさらに追究し、改善を加えながら継続実践していくていくことが今後の課題である。
