本年度は、研究課題に示す通り「江戸東京野菜」を素材に大学附属農場・地域住民・生産者との協働の社会実験を実施し、伝統野菜の生産・消費・食育に関連したネットワークを構築した。またこの社会実験で伝統野菜の食育への利用と近郊農業振興策を提案した。大学附属農場内では「東大マルシェ」という実験直売所を開設し地域住民と農家対象の社会実験を行った。伝統野菜に関するアンケート調査およびポスター発表を行い「江戸東京野菜」についての認知度を上げることに成功した。独立行政法人農業生物資源研究所のジーンバンクに残されていた「高井戸節成キュウリ」は、東京都杉並区周辺で昭和中期まで栽培されていた固定種のキュウリである。「東大マルシェ」開催中に研究代者の栽培を知った杉並区立高井戸小学校は、来年度「高井戸節成キュウリ」の栽培を「特色ある教育活動」のメニューに取り入れる計画を立てた。今後学習現場への採用を通して近郊農業への理解が深まり、生産現場だけでは広がらない地域とのネットワークが構築されることが予想される。この研究では「江戸東京野菜」の栽培だけでなく、自家採種も試みた。練馬区内の農家から分譲された「練馬大根」の種は、昔ながらの形質が分離してしまい、再び選抜する途中のため、遺伝的にはまだ雑駁な状態であった。さらに宿家採種を何世代か続け、品種固定を行い、種を再び地域に還元したいと計画している。また、今後農家や飲食業、学校の栄養教諭、地域住民を対象にした「江戸東京野菜」を活用したワークショップを開き、ネットワークをさらに広げていきたい。伝統野菜の復興は地道な事業だが、多様性に富んだ生物遺伝資源の「動態保存」は農業技術や食文化の継承を含め、食育や農業振興にとっても重要で、研究代表者が在籍する生態調和農学機構では継続して行う予定である。

In the future, the family will collect seeds for generations, varieties will be fixed, seeds will be planted, and the region will be returned to the original plan. In the future, farmers, restaurants, schools, and local residents will use the "Tokyo Wild Vegetables" to open up and develop their own businesses. The revival of traditional wild vegetables is a matter of enterprise diversity, richness,"dynamic conservation" of biological heritage resources, agricultural technology, food culture and inheritance, food culture and agricultural revitalization, important, and research representatives are present in ecological harmony and agricultural institutions.
