【本研究の目的方法】本研究のおもな目的は, 小中高等学校の養護教諭を対象に, 掲示物作成(折り紙)プログラムを提供し, 掲示方法の工夫による保健室の環境改善が, 健康相談活動や保健指導にどのように影響し, どのような効果があるのかを明らかにしようとするものであった.【方法】❶全国の養護教諭(千葉県内外の小中高等学校, 約30名)を対象としたおりがみ教室を開催し, 春を意識した題材として、卒業式や入学式に掲示ができるように, 「たんぽぽ」を選び作成した. (1学期)❷秋には, 地域の養護教諭の研修会においても, 和紙折り紙教室を実施した. その後, 作成した作品をそれぞれの学校に持ち帰り掲示した. これらの活動を通して, 参加者全員に自由記述による質問紙調査を実施した. 自由記述の分析では, 回答に見られる語彙をいくつかのパターンに分類し, その特徴を明らかにした.【おもな結果】作成した掲示物は, これまで蓄積した内容を踏まえ, 児童生徒の身心の緊張を和らげるものとした. 自由記述の内容分析から, 次のような結果を得ることができた.掲示物を背景とした保健指導を通して, 不定愁訴を訴えて保健室に行っても, 長い時間来室しているのではなく, 短時間で教室に戻ることができるようになってきた. また, 子どもたちに笑顔が多く見られるようになった. 保健室での空間配置を工夫することによって, 感動できる子どもが増え, きれいな物を見て, 「きれい」と言えるようになった.和紙で作った季節の花は, 造花であるが, この花の掲示を楽しみにしていることが明らかとなった. 加えて, 和紙を用いた花は, 様々な組み合わせが可能であり, 養護教諭め創意工夫を高めることが分かった. 掲示物を用いた指導を実施した養護教諭の語彙内容は以下に収斂された.1)明るさ, 表情の変化, 笑顔2)安堵感・安心感と相互信頼3)豊かな保健室空間と不定愁訴の改善
