项目摘要

平成10年度は経営戦略における間接的アプローチの理論的な整理を行なうと共に,その典型的な事例の収集・整理作業が行なわれた.前年度に収集・整理されたデータに基づいて,その背後に作用している論理を探り,モデル化する作業や,その論理を統合するためのメタ理論的考察を行なった.まず典型的な間接的アプローチの諸事例は,(1)意図せざる結果の生成主体と(2)意図せざる結果の生成メカニズムの2つに注目することで,次の4つに分類可能である.すなわち,(1)自社内の組織メンバーが学習することで生まれる間接性,(2)社外の行為者が学習することで生まれる間接性,(3)社内の組織メンバーの行為が複雑に相互依存していることから生じる間接性,(4)社外の行為者の行為が複雑に相互依存していることから生じる間接性である.このような整理を通じて経営戦略における間接的アプローチの理論的体系化に一歩近づいた.またこれらの論理の背後に作用している原理原則を明らかにすることで,経営戦略における間接的アプローチを考察することに多大な教育的価値があることもまた明らかにされた.通常の直接戦略志向の研究が,(1)決定論的姿勢と(2)無時間的社会システム理解をもたらし,社会システムの理解を浅薄化してしまうのに対し,間接戦略志向の研究は(1)非決定論的姿勢を強調し,(2)時間展開を伴った社会システムのダイナミックな理解をもたらすことで,社会システムに関する洞察を深め,次の時代の企業システムを担う人々の思考を深化させる効果をもつと考えることが可能である.
