项目摘要

【目的】慢性的な病気や障害を持つ子どもと病気や障害を持たない子どもが、統合保育の場で、どのような社会的相互行為でかかわりあい関係性を生みだすのか、その行動の性質を明らかにすることを目的とした。【方法】被観察者として、大阪府内K保育園園児130名のうち、2歳児から5歳児クラスの子ども99名(慢性的な病気や障害を持つ子どもは12名)が参加した。観察期間は、1998年7月27日から8月7日までの午前中、自由遊びの時間帯であった。観察は場面見本法(砂場・砂場周辺あそび)と、時間見本法(1人あたり1回を約5分)が選択された。その際、ビデオテープに行動を記録し、その後詳細な記述式観察記録が作成された。社会的相互作用のカテゴリーは、Whiting&Whiting(1978)の研究で使用された12カテゴリーに準じ、子どもの関係性を詳細に把握するための「拒否」と「無視・無関心」を取り出し、14カテゴリーを用いた。【結果・考察】記述式観察記録は、52場面を作成した。全52場面のうち、慢性的な病気や障害を持つ子どもの含まれている遊び場面は20場面であった。社会的相互作用のカテゴリー化については、20場面のうち10場面を抽出し、2名の独立した評定者が行い、評定者間の一致率は76.8%であった。慢性的な病気や障害を持つ子ども12名のうち、砂場・砂場周辺あそびで観察されたのは8名であった。砂場という限定された場所で観察された病気や障害を持つ子どもは、病気や障害を持たない子どもに比べて少ないことが明らかになった。この結果は、普遍的に認識される可視的な枠に対する「認識の枠」が、病気や障害を持つ子どもと持たない子どもでは異なることが考えられた。社会的相互作用カテゴリーについては、病気や障害を持つ子どもと遊ぶ時に病気や障害を持たない女児の「接触」行為が頻回に観察された。その他、「援助」や「支持」などの向社会的行動が、病気や障害を持たない子どもたちに多く観察されることはなかった。
