The main objective of this research is to enable robots to learn how to communicate efficiently by observing human-human interaction. This objective will be achieved by (1) developing a baseline method for learning the principles of human-human interaction autonomously from visual data and 2) allowing the robot to learn and develop in an online manner during human-robot interaction sessions in the wild.
