项目摘要

本年度は、動きそのものが持つ意味内容に立ち入った動画インデクシングを実現するための手がかりとして、クラシック・バレエ(以下「バレエ」)の動き(パ)のデータベースを試作した。まず、身体の動きをインデクシングに必要なだけ体系化するために、前年度に引き続きバレエの動きの分析を行った。次に、モーション・キャプチャ・システムを用いてバレエの実演動作のデータを採取した。データ採取にあたり、小林紀子バレエ・シアターのプロフェッショナル・ダンサー3名には振付と実演に関する協力をいただき、わらび座デジタル・アート・ファクトリーには磁気式モーション・キャプチャ・システムの運用とスタジオ利用に関する協力をいただいた。採取したモーション・キャプチャ・データは、同デジタル・アート・ファクトリーに加工を依頼した。そして加工済みのデータに対し、デジタル・アート・ファクトリーが開発した「舞踊符」データベースの仕様に合わせて、インデックステーブル構築の作業を行った。今回の研究では、直接的にはこの作業が、身体の動きを対象としたインデクシングに相当する。最終的には、バレエの動きの検索と再生・再構成が可能なデータベースを試作し、検索効率やユーザインタフェースを吟味した。以上のような研究の結果、身体の動きを対象としたインデクシングに関していくつかの基本的な問題点を確認し、今後の研究で目指すべき方向性を明らかにすることができた。
