Meiofauna diversity – investigations on Halammohydra (Cnidaria, Hydrozoa)

海洋小型动物中许多生物的种类组成和分布格局在很大程度上仍不清楚。以分布于北海的物种比较贫乏的Halammohya属为例，对所描述的物种是否有效、是否存在形态可塑性以及物种的分布情况进行了调查。将在四个欧洲海洋站(赫尔戈兰站、卑尔根站、克里斯丁贝格站、罗斯科夫站)进行调查。取样的标本有形态记录，其中大多数具有遗传特征(CO1、ITS2、18S)。对较小比例的标本进行了更详细的形态研究(cnidome、超微结构、神经系统免疫组织化学)。我们希望能清楚地了解这一中间系统中这一富有魅力的成员的物种组成和分布能力。

Species composition and distribution patterns of many organisms of the marine meiofauna are still largely unknown. Taking the comparably species-poor genus Halammohydra, which is distributed within the North Sea with several species, as example, it shall be investigated whether the described species are valid, whether there is morphological plasticity and how species are distributed. Investigations will be performed at four European marine stations (Helgoland, Bergen, Kristineberg, Roscoff). The sampled specimens are documented morphologically and the majority of them are characterised genetically (CO1, ITS2, 18S) . A smaller proportion of the specimens is investigated morphologically in more detail (cnidome, ultrastructure, immunohistochemistry of the nervous system). We expect to receive a clear picture of the species composition and distribution capacity of this charismatic member of the intersitital system.
