平成12年度の研究成果である論文「18世紀ブランデンブルク農村における家族・親族・階層」を『土地制度史学』編集委員会のコメントに基づき改訂、同誌への掲載が決定した。この論文では、ルピン郡の事例に基づき、農場相続人による兄弟姉妹=非相続人の排除を本来的機能とする一子相続制農場において、農場相続人(農民・コッセーテン)がむしろ非相続人の農場内部における下層民(ビュドナー・アインリーガー)としての定住を支援し、階層を超えた親族間協力が展開されていたことを明らかにした。平成13年度には、この農場内部での超階層的な親族間協力の「限界」を究明した。その過程で、農場相続人及び農場内部に定住する非相続人=下層民の頻繁な「再婚」(西欧・中欧に中世以来展開した「西洋家族」の一根本特徴)が、両者の親族関係を絶えず切断し、その結果、農場内部における親族間の協力関係を不安定(短期的)なものにしていたことが明らかとなった。つまり、夫婦=婚姻関係の血縁関係に対する優位というブランデンブルク=中欧の家族構造の特質は、親族ネットワーク形成のあり方にも反映していたのである。この成果は以下の形で公表(予定)。1.口頭発表"Wiederheiraten und Verwandtschaftsnetze in der landlichen Mark Brandenburg des 18. Jahrhunderts"、国際コンファレンス"The social and cultural meanings of marriage : A micro-history approach to the European marriage pattern"(2001年9月20・22日、ゲッティンゲン、マックスプランク歴史学研究所)にて。2.論文"Wiederheiraten und Verwandtschaftsnetze auf dem unteilbaren Hof : Zeugnisse aus dem Amt Alt-Ruppin(Mark Brandenburg) des 18. Jahrhunderts"(仮題)を脱稿。上記コンファレンス論文集(ドイツにて近刊)に収録予定。3.独訳刊行予定の博士論文に、以上の成果を加筆中。
