项目摘要

本研究は様々に問題をもつ生徒の行動様態とその環境とを、生徒の空間行動の観察調査とアンケートから実証的に捉えるものである。個人と集団の居場所選択と空間行動という視点から研究を行った。教科教室型中学校(聖籠中・打瀬中)と特別教室型中学校(吉江中・滑川中)で、生徒の行動観察とアンケート調査を行い、生徒の空間行動の実態を捉えた。さらに、聖籠町立聖籠中学校で、ホームベース・教科センターの家具レイアウトを変更し生徒の行動変化を観察・アンケート調査を行った。これに加えて、教師の一日の行動をトレースすることで、生徒との接触・先生相互の接触に焦点を当てその行動観察とアンケートを行い、以下のことが捉えられた。(1)集団形成と個人のすみ分けによる行動・空間選択特別教室型中学校の場合は、生徒の居場所は教室・図書室付近に集中している。教科教室型中学校では、生徒の学習生活拠点が校内に分散し、ホームベース・教室・ラウンジ・体育館・トイレ等に及ぶ。生徒集団は、特に廊下と体育館を選ぶ傾向が強い。(2)学校空間での先生の行動特性教科教室型の中学校では、先生が教科センター・研究室にいてその行動領域が狭い。生徒との接触は、教師が研究室と教室間の移動の際に行われる。(3)集団圧力を回避する空間行動の特性把握ホームベースでは、女子生徒の領域占有と滞留行動の傾向が強い。教科教室型中学校の教室間移動では、4-7人の集団が10-12分の時間間隔を保ち、生徒相互の時間距離をとっている。(3)環境変化に伴う生徒の行動特性ホームベースの家具を廊下側に置く・境界にアルコーブをつくることで、異学年の交流割合が増加する。コンピューターの位置をホームベースの境界付近にずらすことで、その占有状況を改善することができる.
