项目摘要

本研究課題で得た成果は,次の通りである.1.簡易式バーチャルリアリティ提示装置の評価V字型簡易式バーチャルリアリティ提示装置の改良型として,U字型提示装置の評価実験をV字型と比較する形で実施した.地図課題及び主観評価の結果,地図課題ではU字スクリーン型提示装置はV字と同等の高い学習効果を示した.また,主観評価においては,U字スクリーン型提示装置はV字より有意に高い結果を示した.2.時空間GISの教育への活用可能性空間GISの概念を明確にするとともに,時空間データの作成を通して,その教育分野への活用の可能性を明らかにした.3.教材としての時空間VRコンテンツの開発簡易式バーチャルリアリティ提示装置に搭載するSTSP(Science, Technology, Society, and Peace)教材として,長崎における原爆をテーマとする時空間VRコンテンツを開発した.時空間GISにより起こした被爆前,直後,現在の地図情報をもとに,浦上天主堂近辺の新旧の写真を活用することで,現在の天主堂と被爆直後の天主堂を瞬時に切替表示できるようにした.4.遠隔授業における有用性の検討長崎大学における遠隔授業研究の成果をもとにして,直接対話を重視した遠隔授業の現状として,小学校道徳における遠隔授業の事例,教育実習の遠隔参観,そして国際遠隔授業についてまとめた.それを基にして,遠隔授業と時空間コンテンツの利用と遠隔授業におけるVRの可能性を明らかにした.
