项目摘要

本プロジェクトの目的は、日本の初・中等教育にみられる「優れた実践」(good practice)を東南アジアの諸国に発信し、その評価結果をもとに国際協力のあり方を総合的に明らかにすることにある。本プロジェクトの大きなねらいは、「教育界遺産」構想と途上国への国際協力の両者を視野に入れた基礎的・学際的な共同研究を試みることである。そのための萌芽となる枠組み作りに本研究の主眼がある。平成17年度中に実施した過去に日本留学経験を持つ教育学研究者に対するインタビューと引き続いて在日している留学生への聞き取りに基づいて、共同研究者間での研究会を実施し、発信すべき教育実践の抽出のために必要な研究枠組みの設定と、発信方法についての協議を行った。協議を通じて、本研究を本格的な研究プロジェクトとして発展させるために、以下のような研究の枠組みと課題を設定することが必要であることが明らかとなった。第一に、東南アジアを中心とした諸外国におけるニーズ調査を本格的に実施し、各国の事情に沿った日本の教育実践としてどのような領域の情報発信が求められているかを明らかにすること。第二に、J-modelを抽出するためのディレクトリの作成を行う必要があること。単に教授スキルにとどまることなく、優れた実践を可能にする制度的な条件についての検討を行いながら、ディレクトリを作定し、実践例を抽出するための枠組みが求められる。第三に、優れた実践を抽出するための評価基準を作定すること。このために、体系的に教育実践報告の収集と分析を行うための、データベース作成が前提作業として重要になる。第四に、J-modelを発信するための方法として、日本語及び英語による文献媒体によるものと、CD-ROM、DVD、VHSなどの記録媒体によるもの、あるいは、ホームページで公開することを前提としたデジタル・コンテンツも含めて併用しながら、海外で活用可能な発信方法とする必要がある。以上の枠組みと課題に基づいて、筑波大学教育学系の教員12名による本格的な研究プロジェクトを構成することとなり、「日本の教育遺産の途上国への発信モデル構築に関する研究」(平成19年度基盤研究(A)(一般))として申請するに至った。

The purpose of this project is to promote good practice in primary and secondary education in Japan, to promote communication among Southeast Asian countries, to evaluate the results of international cooperation, and to integrate international cooperation.
