Folkcognition and folktechnology concerning of its environment

为了达到这一目的，我们选择了三个小地区进行研究，这三个地区是冲绳的黑岛、香川的马鲁加梅和秋田的田代。我们一直在研究它们的环境与生活方式之间的关系，这三个地区具有独特的环境特征，其特征是珊瑚叶，人工池塘和大量的雪。当地居民的民俗文化被迫适应和利用这些环境。与此同时，他们一直致力于改变它作为有用的东西。通过这次田野调查，我们对自然与他们的生活方式，特别是民间技术的关系有了更清晰的认识。

We chosed three small areas to research in order to attain this aim, which are Kuroshima in Okinawa, Marugame in Kagawa and Tashiro in Akita. We have been studying the relation between their environments and their way of life.These three areas have the unique features of environment which are characterized coral leaf, artificial pond and a lot of snow. The residents have been forced their folk-culture to adapt and utilize these environments. At the same time, they have been engaged in changing it as usefull things. Through this fieldwork, we got the clear picture about the relation between nature and their way of life, especially folk-techniques.
