社会システムでは、異なる目的を追求する複数の行動主体(個人や企業組織・国家など)の間で利害の対立と協力の可能性が混在する。本研究では、それぞれ自己の目的を追求する行動主体の間でいかにして協力関係が実現し、さらに安定なものとして発展していくかを、ゲーム理論の方法論を用いて解明した。特に、社会システムを構成する複数の行動主体間で協力を実現するためにどのような交渉が行なわれ、交渉の結果、主体間でどのような協力が実現するかを分析した。分析の特徴としては、提案、応答、再提案が繰り返される交渉の動学プロセスを展開形ゲームの表現形式を用いて定式化し、交渉ゲームの非協力均衡点を分析することにより協力が実現する条件を解明した点である。これまでに協力ゲームの理論ではさまざまな解概念が提示されているが、本研究では最も代表的な解概念であるコアに注目した。主要結果は、コアが本研究で提示した交渉モデルの定常均衡点によって実現されることを証明したことである。この成果によって、協力が実現するためには社会システムにおける交渉のルールなどの制度的要因ばかりでなく、行動主体の行動パターン(戦略)の複雑さも重要な要因であることが明らかになった。過去の交渉結果への依存度が大きい複雑な行動パターンのもとでは協力関係は必ずしも実現されない。また、上記で得られた理論的成果を公共財を含む経済システムに適用し、経済主体の自発的な協力によって公共財が生産、蓄積されていくプロセスを分析した。さらに、人口、生産技術、公共財ストックが経済主体の協力関係の発展にどのような影響を与えるかを考察した。今後の課題は、行動主体自身による社会システムの構造変革を分析しシステム構造の発展過程を解明することにある。

The results of the above mentioned theory are applicable to the production and accumulation of public goods. The development of cooperative relations between China, population, production technology and public property is investigated. In the future, the problem is to analyze the structural transformation of social systems and to explain the development process of social systems.
