项目摘要

数論は、数学のあらゆる分野と密接に関連して発展し、近年では、物理学・工学等への応用も見い出されているが、本研究は、代数学、K 理論、偏微分方程式、関数論、確率論の数論への応用という総合的な見地に立って遂行された。また、数論の工学・物理学への応用も考察された。研究代表者および分担者全員によって、(1)関連部門の研究集会等への参加・討論(2)関連部門の研究者との緊密なる研究連絡・研究打ち合わせ(3)資料・文献の調査・収集・整理を行った。特に、代数学の数論への応用という観点においては、ガウスの和・ヤコビの和の研究の重要性がますます認識されてきて、研究代表者が従来より行ってきたガウスの和・ヤコビの和に関するいくつかの研究をさらに発展させていく見通しを得た。すなわち、(1)局所類体論、特に、explicitな相互法則のヤコビの和・ガウスの和へのさらなる応用(2)研究代表者によって得られたガウスの和の合同式のさらなる一般化とその応用(特に、塩田予想への)(3)ヤコビの和・ガウスの和に関する研究代表者が得たいままでの研究のフェルマーの問題への応用など新しい発展の見通しを得た。

The close connection between number theory and mathematics has been developed. In recent years, the application of physics and engineering has been developed. This study has been carried out in the application of algebra, K theory, partial differential equations, number theory and accuracy theory. A survey of the applications of engineering and physics in number theory (1) Participation and discussion in research meetings of related departments;(2) Close research contacts and research cooperation among researchers of related departments;(3) Investigation, collection and arrangement of data and documents. In particular, the importance of the study of the number theory of algebra and its application has been recognized and the research representatives have come to develop the study of algebra and its application.
