ヒルベルト・モジュラー型多変数保型関数の研究は、近年急速に発展してきた。本年度は、従前行ったヒルベルト・モジュラー群、及び拡大ヒルベルト・モジュラー群の研究に引き続きHurwitz-Maass拡大を対象として研究を行った。実2次拡大体Q(√<D>)の整数環に付随して定まるヒルベルト・モジュラー群のPL_2^+(R)^2内における最大離散拡大であるHurwitz-Maass拡大に対する重さ2の尖点形式の作る空間の次元の計算を行った。この空間の次元は、次の2次体に関連した数論的量により決定される。(ア)単位元の寄与 Dedekind Zeta関数の特殊値(イ)楕円元の寄与 位数2,3,4,5,6,12の楕円元の寄与これは、拡大体の類数を用いて表わされる(ウ)尖点の寄与 Cusp singularityのinvariant上記の諸量は、計算可能であり、1<D<1,000のDについてコンピュータによる数値計算を実行した。これにより、D=2,3,5,6,7,13,15,17,21,33,69の11個についてその次元が零となることが確認された。この他、分担研究者により次頁記載のものを含め7編の研究論文を本年度発表した。最後に当補助金により、多くのシンポジュウム等に出席でき、また多くの研究者と研究連絡を行なえたことは、大変本研究の実施に役立ったことを付記する。

The research on the multi-dimensional data protection system has developed rapidly in recent years. This year, we will continue to conduct research on the development of the Hurwitz-Maass Group. The <D>calculation of the maximum dispersion in PL_2^+(R)^2 of the integer ring Q(√ ) of the second order is carried out by Hurwitz-Maass method. The quantity of number theory is determined by the relationship between the two dimensions of space and the second dimension.
