1.今年度行われた学会、シンポジウム、研究集会等において、超越数論の研究発表、情報交換、交流および資料収集の面で多くの成果があった。2.特に、平成5年10月に京都大学で行われたシンポジウムでは、マーラー関数、多様体と超越性及び整数点の分布等についての講演が行われた。3.次に、当研究費補助金を運営その他の費用として、平成6年1月に学習院大学で行われた第4回超越数論研究集会では、16名の講演者により、超越数論の種々の結果の紹介や新しい研究の発表があり、非常に有意義な会であった。その研究集会の主なテーマは、(1)マーラー級数、空隙級数、幾何級数などの値の超越性、(2)連分数の種々相と超越数、(3)楕円関数、楕円曲線と超越理論、(4)有理近似と超越測度、等があげられる。これらはいづれも、更に研究が続けらるべきテーマである。4.これまでの研究集会と同じく、当研究費補助金によって、今回も上記研究集会の報告集を出すことができた。この特色の一つである文献集も、引き続いてのせられている。

In January 2006, Gakushuin University held the 4th Transcendental Number Theory Research Conference, 16 lecturers presented the results of transcendental number theory, and presented new and meaningful research findings. (1) The transcendence of geometric series;(2) the transcendental number of continuous fractions;(3) the transcendental number of curves;(4) the transcendental measure of rational approximation.これらはいづれも、更に研究が続けらるべきテーマである。4. Research meetings are held at the same time, when research grants are paid, and reports on research meetings are published at the same time. This feature is a collection of documents, and the introduction is a collection of documents.
