项目摘要

研究は共同または各分担者を中心とするセミナーを核として進められた。1.平行移動に関して不変な作用素のつくる代数の研究には作用関数を決定することが有効である。考える空間が非コムパクトの場合はある解決をみているが、コムパクトの場合もほぼ解決することができた。これによりフーリエ・マルチプライヤーのスペクトラムの状況がほぼ解明された(猪狩惺)。2.ウエーヴレットの研究から特にウイルソン基が、遠方で増大するポテンシアルをもつシュレデインガー作用素の固有値の漸近挙動の研究に効果的であること示した。また、この基を用いてある準楕円型偏微分方程式の有界性を示すことができた(立沢一哉)。3.強擬凸領域上のベルグマン・ラプラシアンを例とするような境界で退化する2階楕円型作用素Lの調和解析に関する基本的な結果を得た。それを用いて、Lu=Oの解からなるハーデイ空間のアトムおよび拡散過程による特徴付けを証明し、さらにボイタシュチークの予想を含むような一般的な結果を得た。また退化楕円型作用素に関するメルローズ理論を通して、新たな調和解析の研究の可能性に着目しその準備に着手した(新井仁之)。4.非可換単調完備C^*-力学系の研究をおこない、可換離散群が自由にかつエルゴード的に作用する非可換単調C^*-力学系は存在することを構成的に示した、またその同値性にかんする研究をおこなった(斉藤和之)。5.反応拡散方程式が活性因子と抑制因子からなる2成分からなる場合、ある定常解を構成しその安定性について研究した(高木泉)。
