(1)本研究は、グローバルエコノミーと民族の問題の関係を論ずる視点から、さしあたってハプスブルク帝国の多民族問題を素材に、「分離と統合」の問題を考察するものである。この点、中欧の復活がうたわれている今日、帝国の民族問題の解決に真摯に取り組んだ、オット-・バウアーらオーストロ・マルクス主義の理論家たちの構想の重要性が本研究を通して改めて確認された。今後、オーストリアでの現地調査を通してこの研究を継続する必要がある。(2)本課題を果たすために、洋書、和書の購入、北海道大学の付属図書館並びに国家図書館を中心に、不十分とはいえ文献資料の収集に努めた。(3)北海道、福岡での研究会で社会思想史学会、経済学史学会における民族問題に関心のある研究者の交流を行い、また、経済学史学会大会のフォーラム「民族問題と経済学」で、「オーストロ・マルクス主義と民族問題-オット-・バウアーを中心に」を報告した。(4)本研究の成果は、上記の学会報告で、これに基づき、共著『民俗理論の系譜』(ナカニシヤ出版、1997年出版予定)の1章を分担執筆することになっている。また、平成8年度いっぱい、学術振興会の派遣研究者としてオーストリアで民族問題の実地調査に取りかかる予定である。これらの研究に今回の科学研究費補助金の助成は、まことに役立ったと言える。

(1)This study discusses the relationship between the problem of separation and integration of ethnic groups from different perspectives and materials. The point, the revival of Central Europe, the importance of the theorist's conjecture in solving the national problems of the empire, and the sincerity of the group, are confirmed by this study. In the future, it is necessary to conduct on-site investigation. (2)The results of this project include the acquisition of foreign books, the acquisition of books, the acquisition of Hokkaido University's affiliated libraries, and the collection of literature data. (3)The research conferences in Hokkaido and Fukuoka, the Society for the History of Social Thought, and the Society for the History of Economic Science conducted exchanges among researchers concerned with ethnic issues. In addition, the symposium on "Ethnic Issues and Economics" at the Conference of the Society for the History of Economic Science,"Orastro·Malakism and Ethnic Issues-Orastro-·Bákāra" was reported. (4)The results of this research are based on the report of the above-mentioned society and a chapter of "Pedigree of Folk Theory"(published in 1997). In 2008, the Institute for the Promotion of Science dispatched researchers to conduct research on ethnic issues. The scientific research grant for this year's research is supported by the Ministry of Education.
