1 化学繊維産業における経営多角化戦略と内部労働市場に関し,昨年度収集した資料の整理・解析を進め,またゼンセン同盟本部から補足的資料を収集した. この研究から得られた知見の大要は, 昨年度実績報告書に記載の通りである.2 本年度は, 主に電機産業に関する既存資料の収集と産業実態の分析および, 実態調査を実施した. 成長産業であり, かつ多様でふところの深い産業としての性格上,この産業における「多角化」は,電機産業の大枠の中で進められている. しかし,内部の製品構成の変動は著るしく,とくに1970年代後半以降進められて来たエレクトロニクス技術応用製品の開発と事業分野のシフトは, 労務管理上,労使関係上,様々な問題を惹起している. このような認識にもとづき, 調査対象を幅広い製品分野を持ち, 大規模な構造転換を進めている総合電機メーカー三社のひとつである三菱電機に絞り,実態調査を行った. 三菱電機労組本部から,最近実施した事業転換を含む再編成と,それに関する労働組合の取組みの概要について聴取調査を実施,資料を収集した. また, この事業転換の中で,最もドラスティックなそれに踏み切った同社三田製作所,同社における事業転換のパイオニアであり,顕著な成功事例である名古屋製作所について, 訪問面接調査を行った.これらの調査の結果は, なお鋭意分析中であるが, 職種転換教育の重要性,事業転換に関わる経営上の決定に対する労働組合の発言,すなわち経営参加の取組みが強められつつある実態,配置転換を容易にするために賃金制度の大ぐくり化が進められている事実など, 興味深い事実発見があった.3 電機産業における事業転換への取り組みについて, 海外研究者とのコミュニケーションの便宜を図るために, 上記論点を他産業と比較した英文ペーパーを作成した.
