COMPARATIVE STUDIES OF THE ACTUAL CIRCUMSTANCES OF IMMIGRANT WORKERS AS FOUND IN DIFFERENT REGIONS

本研究的目的是试图阐明当今世界移民工人的状况。通过政治学、社会学、经济学和历史学的不同专业领域的分析，这项研究工作正在以一种全面的方式进行。这项研究工作的结果是明确了越来越大的压力，需要再次彻底质疑我们关于移民劳工的现有观点和看法，如以下三点所表明的：1)移民劳工问题在揭露现代世界中“民族国家”的虚构方面发挥了很大作用。2)移民劳动力和劳动力的流动有助于国际结构的构成。3)当前国际人民之间交流的发展和人权意识形态的进步，带来了各国重新审视那些生活在自己边界内的外国人的待遇的动力。而且，这不是同化一个“一个民族国家”，而是保持自己独特文化和差异的权利，即许多不同文化的共存，这成为当前的主题。由此可见，这项研究的意义在于，它表明需要摆脱我们根深蒂固的观念，这种观念是建立在“民族国家”、“民族经济”和“民族文化”存在的假设之上的。

The aim of the present study is to seek to shed light on the situation of immigrant workers in the world today. This being carried out in a comprehensive manner, through analysis within the various specialist fields of politics,sociology, economics, and history.The outcome of this research work has been to make clear the increasing pressure to thoroughly question again our existing viewpoints and perceptions regarding immigrant laborers, as illustrated by the following three points:1) The immigrant labour problem has a large role to play in laying bare the fiction of the 'nation state' in the modern world.2) The movement of immigrant labour and labour power has served in the making up of the international fabric.3) The development of the current exchange between international peoples and progress of the ideology of the rights of man, have brought about the impetus for nations to re-examine the treatment of those foreigners living within their own borders.Moreover it is not assimilation towards a 'one nation state', but the right to keep one's unique culture and of disparity, namely the coexistence of many different cultures, which emerges as the current theme. Thus it can be seen that the significance of this study, is that it demonstrates the need to get rid of our entrenched perceptions, as based on the assumptions of the existence of a 'nation-state', 'nation economy' and 'national culture'.
