1.昨年度からの継続課題であるため、昨年度のデータ処理と新たなデータ収集が平行して平成5年度の研究内容となった。データ集めは昨年に等しく東京・山形の6園の縦断観察を月1回行なった。2.昨年度収集分のデータ処理、分析結果は、以下のようである。(1)研究成果は、平成5年度内に2つの主要学会で公表した。・「異文化児のいるクラスにおける仲間関係とコミュニケーション」1993年9月 日本心理学会第57回大会発表論文集(P326)・「異文化の子どもをめぐる信念体等と社会的環境」1993年10月日本教育心理学会第35回総会発表論文集(P215)(2)両発表の内容は、第一に保育クラスにおける子どもの仲間関係と仲間認知の発達を、異文化児の在籍の有無との関係で調べ、異文化児の存在が日本児の仲間関係に影響を与えることを示した。第二に、外国語や異文化の認識など、社会文化的認識発達においても日本児は、異文化児の存在の影響を受けるが、親や教師の与えた情報が知識を左右する傾向の強いことがわかった。第三に親や教師の信念について調べると、日本人は日本の文化の信念を基準に、食事・集団生活・衛生などについて、異文化児の行動を評価し、それを表現していることが示された。異文化児の親も共通した傾向であるが、保育方法について異論をとなえるなどの傾向は少なかった。第四に日本国内の都市化に伴う地域差のある中で、異文化児の保育の社会的環境を比較すると、公けの保育指針においてほぼ共通した傾向が見られる他、保育者の保育の工夫なども同等であった。むしろ在籍する外国児の国・文化に差があり、それが社会的環境に差をもたらす方向での地域差が見られた。異文化児をめぐる社会的環 境の分折には今後の検討が必須である。
