Based on both theoretical and empirical studies, the intoruction of such a new tax as carbon tax is proposed into the Japaness tax system. Such a tax would be effective to eliminate the bad effects of global warming phenomena in the world. Although it may damage on economic performance to some extent, it might be worth introducing from now on.
