We have four results as follow ;1) Classification of Industrial Platforms"Platform" is just a little bit ambiguous concept. It means the base on which several firms make new products and innovations in the industry. We have investigated it from the indexes of industrial relations, and then classified it quantitatively.2) Strategies of Intellectual Property Rights(hereafter, "IPR")We have shown the difficulty of balancing openness and closeness on IPR policy through case studies. As Intel's case has been known, the corporation changed its strategy from open to close after it got the de facto standard of PCI bus architecture.3) Strategic AlliancesWe have found the importance of management on growth period. For example, new venture startups should focus on constructing its own business model and marketing development in the stage of product development. Our matrix of time pressure and resource scarcity would give startups solutions of strategic alliances.4) Local Industrial Clusters(the role of university)We have focused on the role of university, player of technology transfer. We have treated university as the field in which technological innovations, venture capital and new startups encounter. The more new players encounter each other, the more charm of university and local area increase and come into blooms.
