A Comparative Sociological Study on Educational Policies Concerning Academic Achievements : Equity and excellence

2000年，国际学生评估项目（PISA）在国际上被引入，2007年，全国开始进行测试，学术成就的新时代开始了。本研究从社会学角度探讨了日本国内外学术标准政策的特点、影响及存在的问题。在这8个国家，新自由主义政策在教育领域盛行的同时，旨在缩小各种差距的政策也在积极实施。与此相反，在日本，这些政策的优先事项在地区上存在严重偏见，这取决于国家测试的结果有多好。

A new era of academic achievements has started internationally in 2000 when PISA was introduced and nationally in 2007 when the national test began to take place. In this research project, the characteristics, impacts and problems of policies on academic standards both in and out of Japan were explored sociologically. Whilst in all eight countries neo-liberal policies are prevailing in the field of education, policies targeting to close the gap of various kinds are also positively implemented. Contrary to that, priorities on those policies are heavily biased in Japan regionally depending on how good the results of the national tests have been.
