２つの観点で検討を行った。第１に、社会規範ナッジについての再検討を行った。社会規範ナッジとは、多くの人がある行動をとっているという情報を提示することで、人々にその行動を促すという手法である。本年度の研究では、感染予防行動に着目し、「多くの人が外出を行っている」という情報の提示が、人々の外出行動を促すのかどうかを検討した。社会規範ナッジの観点からは、多数が外出しているという情報を示されると、人々の外出意図は高まると考えられる。一方、感染リスクの観点からは、多数が外出しているという情報を示されると、却って人々の外出意図は下がると考えられる。実験の結果、（１)外出する者が多いという情報が提示されると、却って人々の外出意図が下がることが明らかになった。さらに追加分析の結果、（２）「感染予防行動をとらないと他者からの評判が下がる」という評判予測が人々の感染予防行動を促していること、（３）その効果はワクチンを接種していない者においてより顕著であることが分かった。第２に、デフォルトナッジについての再検討を行った。デフォルトナッジとは初期設定の選択肢を変更することで人々の意思決定を変える取り組みであり、例えば「申込む」を初期設定とすることで申込率を高めることができる。本年は意思決定者の選好と実際に行った意思決定の一貫性に着目し、（４）意思決定にかける時間が短い者ほど本来の選好と一貫しない意思決定を行っていること、（５）その関連は「申込む」を初期設定とした選択アーキテクチャで顕著に見られることが分かった。
