本年度は、様々な団体からの協力をあおぎながら、研究対象者を特定し、年度末までに合計２６名のインタビューを行うことができた。データ収集時に最終的な研究対象者の属性内訳、例えば男女比、雇用状況、精神疾患種別がバランスよくなるように留意したため、あまり偏りのないデータ収集ができたと思われる。現在ある２６名のデータで、データの飽和が感じられてきたので、十分な数のデータが集まっていると思われる。また、完了したインタビューの音声データは書き起こしが終わっている。データの匿名化を施し、安全性を確保した後、質的データ分析を行った。データ分析法については、Braun & Clarke (2021)の、Thematic Analysis（主題分析）という方法を用いた。主な結果として、個人が大事にしていることがはっきりとわかっていること、それに取り組んでいることが生きがいに関係していることが分かった。これらは簡単そうに見えるが、社会的通年により、何が本当に大事なものなのかを見失うこともまれではない。また、精神障がいのスティグマにより、やりたいことがあっても気が引けてしまうということも見られた。生きがいにつながるものは、個人個人違うということ、また、生きがいは他の人に言われてできるものではなく、自分で探し出すものであるということも分かり、これらは介入法を開発する際に基盤となる知見であると考えられる。本研究の成果を二つの国際学会で発表した。また、Thematic Analysis から生成されたいくつかのテーマをもとに論文を作成し、学術雑誌であるAmerican Journal of Orthopsychiatryに投稿した。論文は現在査読中である。
