Comparative study with chimpanzees and bonobos on altruism, reciprocity, and understanding of others

我在几内亚的博苏观察野生黑猩猩，在刚果民主共和国的万巴观察野生倭黑猩猩。我还在林原类人猿研究所和京都大学熊本保护区的野生动物研究中心进行了圈养黑猩猩的实验。通过与人类进化的近亲在群体合作、食物分享和帮助行为方面的比较研究，揭示了利他主义、互惠主义和理解他人进化的新方面，并提出了人类进化的新假设。

I observed wild chimpanzees in Bossou, Guinea, and with wild bonobos in Wamba, DR Congo. I also conducted experiments with captive chimpanzees in Great Ape Research Institute, Hayashibara, and in Kumamoto Sanctuary, Wild Research Center, Kyoto University. Comparative studies with our evolutionary closest relatives on group cooperation, food sharing, and helping behavior revealed novel aspects of the evolution of altruism, reciprocity, and understanding of others, and proposed novel hypotheses of the human evolution.
